46,574 tech seats lie vacant

Hyderabad : The seat allotment list for the second and final phase of Eamcet engineering counselling was released on Monday and as many as 46,574 seats remained vacant in the convenor quota. Of the vacant seats, 39,087 vacancies were in engineering colleges and 7,487 in pharmacy colleges.
In addition, many seats remained vacant in computer science engineering (10,040) and information technology (9,275) streams.
A total of 1,92,944 seats were on offer in the convenor quota this year.
